I Need Help Now
You might be looking at this site and be feeling desperate for help. Even if it is in the middle of the night you might feel you need help right now…
Are you feeling in crisis?
If you are in crisis, feeling suicidal or having thoughts of self harm we recommended that you:
- Contact your GP. If you are already receiving support from mental health services, contact your Community Mental Health Team.
- There are a number of phone lines that can help:
- Samaritans on 116 123 for 24-hour confidential emotional support
- Childline on 0800 11 11 for 24-hour confidential support to children and young people up to 18 years old.
- Go to your nearest A&E and ask to be seen by the duty Psychiatrist, who will be able to assess you and give you the appropriate help.
- If you are concerned about an immediate risk of harm and you don’t feel safe then phone 999 and ask for the police or ambulance service.
Getting help from Hampshire Youth Access
HYA isn’t a crisis service but we are here to help. You can contact us and we will be able to point you in the direction of help. If we can, we will try and offer you an appointment to come in and talk about what’s going on for you.
If the office is closed please leave a message and someone will call you back in order to arrange to meet you as soon as possible.
